Reading piano notes involves learning different concepts and it requires a lot of practice. Understanding the time and the key signature in both the bass and treble clefs is essential in reading the piano sheet music and in reading the actual notes. The piano muic sheet is composed of two clefs. Each clef has notes in the lines and spaces which read differently. You can start from A down to G and then back again. For instance, if you begin C the next white key is D and E would come after. When the note pattern ends at G, it will start from the very beginning thus A will come after G. When you play the treble clef, the right hand is usually used. On the music sheet, you can see the lines that contains the notes E-G-B-D-F. You can form the acronym - Every Good Boy Does Fine - if you look closely at the notes. Another one, on the treble clef you can see the spaces that contain the notes F-A-C-E. The word “FACE” is common to everybody, so it’ easy to memorize.
The left hand is used to play the bass clef. It can also be memorized easily using some good acronyms. The notes here are G-B-D-F-A which can be easily remembered as an acronym like “Great Big Dogs Fight Animals.The spaces on the bass clef represent the note.”
These are the best ways on how to remember all the notes without difficulty. For those people who had a hard time memorizing the notes, these way are just plain and simple but it can be very helpful. If you have a better idea, you can also try and make your own acronyms. Make something that you can easily memorize.With both good practice and experience, you will be able to read all the notes without even having these acronyms.
